We are glad and honored to inform you about the "1st International Patient Safety and Healthcare Financing Congress" to be organized by the Federation of Healthcare and Social Services Associations, the International Patient Safety and Health Financing Research Center, and the Association for Healthcare Quality and Accreditation in coordination with the Security Institution, the Turkish Ministry of Health, and Sağlık Bilimleri University in Antalya on November 22-26, 2017 under the main theme of "Patient Safety for Sustainable Healthcare Financing."
Rapid improvements and changes in healthcare industry bring about a responsibility of prioritizing patient safety. On the other hand, taking patient safety into consideration is important for a sustainable healthcare financing as well. To ensure healthcare financing is sustainable in Turkey, it is imperative for all stakeholders to adopt an approach of collective responsibility. Therefore, this Congress, in which all stakeholders will tackle two complementary and interactive concepts of patient safety and healthcare financing in every aspect, is intended to offer new future perspectives and solutions in the light of current topics of discussion and recent developments.
Along with the Scientific Program that includes many Turkish and international scientists, the Congress also offers Course Programs for five different topics concerning field needs, Summit Programs organized in three different fields, namely Patient Safety, Healthcare Financing and Clinical Quality and the UHGSfam Incentive Award that will be presented for the first time under the categories of Patient Safety and Employee Safety.
Our Congress, in which the Turkish healthcare industry will be discussed from every angle ranging from healthcare service production to service financing and modern health insurance industry play an important role, will be a fruitful one in terms of participation and its influence on the whole industry.
We would like to invite all stakeholders including directors and employees of public, private and university hospitals, academics, representatives of private health insurance companies, quality coordinators, directors, financing directors and employees of healthcare institutions, quality assessors, and representatives of medical equipments and pharmaceutical companies to the Congress, a first of its kind for Turkey and the world in which healthcare financing and patient safety will be the main topics.
